Short version: we keep your email address to send you job alerts and the Monday roundup, and nothing else.
Who we are
Second Wave AI Jobs is run by Superposition, based in the UK. Superposition is the data controller for the information below. Contact: secondwave@wearesuperposition.co.uk.
What we collect
When you sign up for job alerts or the newsletter we store: your email address, the date and time you signed up, the page you signed up from, and a record that you ticked the consent box (with the wording you agreed to). We do not store your IP address and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Why
Only to send you job alerts and the weekly roundup, and to tell you when it launches. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or by emailing us.
Where it is kept
The list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. When the newsletter launches it will also be held by the email-sending provider we use to send it, which we will name here before the first email goes out. Both act only on our instructions. We never sell or share your email with employers, recruiters or advertisers.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. After that we delete your address within 30 days.
Job listings
Every listing links to the employer’s own ad (or the job site it was posted on). We don’t take applications, so anything you send when you apply goes to that employer and their privacy notice applies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
